This is a center for Clinical SAS Programming in Ukraine that aims to meet the needs of leading pharmaceutical companies. Although Ukraine offers a lot of highly skilled IT specialists, the number of professionals who fit the industry standards required by the pharmaceutical companies doesn’t cover the rapid growth of the market’s needs. That’s why the decision was made to create an education program in collaboration with a top Ukrainian university in order to prepare specialists that can, and will, deliver the best practices in the industry.

With a history that dates back to 1804, Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest and most highly reputable educational institutions in Eastern Europe. It’s well known for producing Noble Prize winners and for the significant achievements of the over 35 schools and departments of the university. In April 2013, after an official meeting between the university leadership team and representatives from Experis and Intego Group, the decision was made to sponsor a minor program in biostatistics that will be delivered by the university’s School of Mechanics and Mathematics. It was agreed that the main goal of this partnership is to eventually enable the university to reach the level where a master’s degree in biostatistics can be offered in the next five years.
